Talley A. Lattimore

Attorney at Law

After graduation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in 1980, Talley enrolled in the University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated in May 1983. While at USC he clerked for several prominent attorneys who handled real estate matters. He opened his own office in 1986 and has been a sole practitioner ever since. The practice has always been centered around residential real estate. Talley has worked to keep up with the changing laws and the ever evolving mortgage lending regulations, so his client's needs are met. Personal attention has always been his strong suit. While most attorney's delegate the preparation of the Settlement Statement or HUD and Deeds to paralegals or assistants, Talley has always prepared these documents for each client himself.

While at the University of South Carolina School of Law Talley met Gloria Rose Marsico. They married shortly after law school and made Columbia their home. They have raised four children here in Columbia. After coaching youth soccer for thirteen years, Talley is now an avid runner and cyclist.

Paralegal

Gloria graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in accounting. She worked for many years as an accountant for several local companies. Once the children were out of the house, Gloria worked part time as an office manager and assistant for the Law Office and then in 2009 she came on board full time as a paralegal. Gloria's accounting background and her attention to detail has made her an excellent paralegal. She does not let a client, realtor or lender question go unanswered.
